Kids Learning Center is partners with 21st CCLC which has given us a great opportunity to work on Project Based Learning skills to teach the students Collaboration, Communication, Critical thinking and Problem Solving- Students will share and discuss their driving questions to then gather their information and work together in groups to create a plan and complete their project.
During this activity, students will be introduced to the concepts of reducing, reusing and recycling. They will learn new vocabulary, read labels, and connect environmental concepts to their everyday experiences. Students will be able to create common items using all 3 R’s and present in a showcase. Students will utilize their engineering skills in constructing various household items using recycled materials. |
